When visiting the Red Fort, you'll find a few options for eating and drinking inside the complex itself. However, just outside and in the immediate vicinity, you'll discover a wide array of choices.


Cafe Delhi Heights

Located near the visitor center, it offers a mix of Indian and continental dishes and is a convenient place for a snack during your visit. Keep in mind it might have slightly different pricing and a menu compared to its other outlets.



Chandni Chowk

This historic and vibrant market area is a food lover's paradise. You'll find countless street food stalls and small eateries serving a variety of local delicacies. Must-try items include chole bhature, aloo tikki, gol gappe (pani puri), dahi bhalla, various types of paranthas (especially in Paranthe Wali Gali), jalebi (at Old Famous Jalebi Wala), and lassi.


Chawri Bazaar

This area is famous for its authentic Mughlai food.

  • Karim's: A legendary restaurant known for its traditional Mughlai dishes, especially non-vegetarian fare like mutton korma and biryani.

  • Aslam Chicken Corner: Famous for its unique butter chicken preparation.
