Qutub Complex Openings Hours
While usual visiting hours are from sunrise to sunset (typically 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM), the complex now remains open until 9:00 PM to promote night tourism, featuring a spectacular light show at 8:00 PM.

Choose Visit Date and Visit Time (forenoon, afternoon, or evening)
On the next page, specify:

Please be aware that foreign visitors might be asked to present their passports upon entry. Retain your ticket throughout your walk inside the complex, as it will be scanned and verified again at the exit gate as well

Best Time to Visit
The ideal time to visit Qutub Minar is between October and March, when Delhi experiences cooler and more pleasant weather. To enjoy a more peaceful and unhurried visit, we highly recommend arriving early in the day and aiming to conclude your exploration before 12:00 PM.
In summers, you can opt for the night visit. The Complex is brilliantly lit after sunset.
Location & How To Get There
The Qutub Minar Complex is located in the southern part of Delhi, in modern-day Mehrauli. The entrance to the complex lies in Seth Sarai, off the Mehrauli-Gurugram road.
Designated a UNESCO World heritage site in 1993, Mehrauli boasts a rich history serving as the site of fortified cities of the Tomar and Chauhan dynasties until the 12th century.
Nearest Metro Station
Qutab Minar (Yellow Line)—1.6 kms south Battery-operated rickshaws and taxis provide convenient transportation from the station to the Qutub Complex.

Yes, the Qutub Minar Ticket Centre, located across from the complex's entry gate, offers physical tickets through separate counters for Indian and foreign nationals.
However, it’s far more convenient to book your ticket online through the ASI website. This provides a small discount and helps you avoid long queues. You receive your ticket instantly with a QR code that the security guards will scan and verify at the entry gate.
