Since 15th June 2025, the Humayun's Tomb complex, Sunder Nursery, and Humayun Site Museum are open until 9:00 PM with an "evening" ticket.


Steps To Book Tickets Online

  1. Visit ASI’s official portal (link below)

  2. Select Delhi -> Humayun's Tomb from the monument list

  3. Choose Visit Date and Visit Time (forenoon, afternoon, or evening)

  4. On the next page, specify:

    1. Origin and Country (for foreigners)

    2. Name, Age, and Gender

    3. Phone number and Email

    4. Passport details

  5. Pay via UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card

  6. Receive your digital ticket via email

Do I need to hire a guide to see the Tomb?

No. The complex is large but simple to navigate, and a human guide is not needed. Download an audio guide instead and explore on your own at a suitable pace.


Can I buy Humayun's Tomb tickets offline?

Yes, the Ticket Center is situated near the entrance at Sabz Burj circle.



However, it’s far more convenient to book your ticket online through the ASI website. It provides a small discount and helps you bypass long queues. You will receive your ticket instantly with a QR code that the security personnel will scan for verification at the entry gate.

How long does it take to see Humayun's Tomb?

It can take 90-120 minutes to see all the main attractions inside the complex. Apart from the main tomb, there are numerous other buildings like Arab Sarai Gate, Isa Khan's Tomb, and Bu Halima garden.
